Statement on second half of Saturday’s St. George’s vs. St. Mark’s football game

I want to extend my apologies to those of you who tried to tune in for the second half of Saturday’s St. George’s vs. St. Mark’s football game. Allow me to explain what happened:

Towards the end of the first half I got a notification from Windows 10 (my computer’s operating system) that an update had to be installed, and like most Windows updates nowadays, you can’t put it off, and it will take a lot of your precious time to install it.

Unfortunately, today it came at one of the worst possible times, and as the update started and turtled along through halftime, the third quarter and the fourth quarter, I realized I would be letting a lot of people down, especially considering there ended up being several exciting plays in the second half.

So what this means is that there will be no on-demand download of the game, and I’m going to have to invoice Microsoft for shutting down my work and denying me a paycheck (yeah, I know, good luck with that), but hopefully we will not encounter this problem any time soon… or ever again.

In the meantime, the next broadcast is next Saturday at 11:25 a.m. – Milton Academy at Lawrence Academy football. Hope to see you guys then.

TFTI
