GROTON – The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders girls’ cross country team improved to 8-0 on the season with a 25-30 victory over Marlborough Friday.
Freshman Emily Wilson continued her phenomenal season with her fourth first place finish, at a time of 20:06. Sarah Mullins, Samantha Ferraro, Megan Odell, and Kate Nash also finished in the top ten for the Crusaders, who were running without captain Emily McAuliffe.
The Crusaders have two meets remaining: at home vs. Ayer-Shirley on Wednesday the 15th and at Westborough on Monday the 20th, before the road to States begins with the Midland-Wachusett League Meet at Ghiloni Park in Marlborough on Saturday, October 25th.
